In My Planet, players play the role of a deity, influencing the growth of their planet by manipulating variables such as sunlight and rain. The objective is to cultivate the population size to its maximum potential.

One standout feature of My Planet is its real-time gameplay, which ensures that the game progresses even when not actively playing. Thus, regular check-ins throughout the day are necessary to ensure optimal planetary conditions.

The game's controls are straightforward, but mastering them can take weeks. Will you be able to achieve the ambitious target of nurturing a population exceeding one million? Or will you witness your planet suffer under the scorching sun while your people endure hardship? The choice lies in your hands.

The core objective of My Planet is to cultivate a contented and prosperous population. This is largely determined by maintaining adequate levels of vegetation on your planet, represented by the green bar. Ensuring an abundant vegetation supply facilitates rapid population growth, whereas insufficient vegetation leads to starvation and population decline.

To foster vegetation growth, it is crucial to strike a balance between sunlight and water levels – indicated by the Sun and Water meters being at 50% capacity. Excessive sunlight causes vegetation to wither, resulting in casualties among your people. Conversely, insufficient sunlight impedes vegetation growth, leading to starvation. The same principle applies to water levels; excess water leads to flooding and death, while a lack thereof results in drought. Regularly checking your planet's status is vital for maintaining optimal levels of sunlight and water.
